Our company is seeking for our office based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania a skilled Mid DevOps Engineer who is passionate and wants to learn about setting up infrastructure and pipelines to assist developers. You will be knowledgeable around many different pieces of technology such as Git, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and others. As a DevOps Engineer you will need to be a good communicator as you will interact with various stakeholders on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage AWS cloud infrastructure;
• Manage EKS clusters and workloads;
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines;
• Monitor platform health and intervene when necessary;
• Automate repetitive tasks;
• (Identify and fix bugs which appear within devops related code;) - not necessary
• (Ensure pipelines are not creating bottlenecks for rapid deployment of code;) - not necessary
• Provide support to software developers who use the CI/CD pipelines;

What we are looking for

An ideal candidate has:

• Proven experience with: AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python);
• Operational knowledge of Linux systems;
• Nice to have: experience with Jenkins, Sentry, ELK stack, SonarQube;
• Ability to handle a dynamic working environment;
• Critical thinking and problem solving;
• Fast learner with different technologies;
• Good communication skills;
• Tech stack: AWS, Terraform (IaC), Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bash, Python, NewRelic, SonarQube, ElasticSearch/ELK, Sentry, Bitbucket, Jira
• Independently solves problems
